How to install add-on or upgrade? How to install patch for N-LAB applications or system?

*  patch = add-on file from market  or  patch = upgrade file 

  1. file that you download or receive by e-mail from Universal Business System add-on market & upgrade central is applicable to N-LAB products only.
     
  2. user that runs the patch, must be log in as an administrator on machine on which he run the patch,
     
  3. patch could be run on application server that contains N-LAB product or on N-LAB application workstation.
     
  4. please exit from every N-LAB application on machine where you want to run the patch,
     
  5. place the patch file in local folder on machine where you want to run the patch and RUN the patch by doubleclick,
     
  6. if from any reason more then one instance of N-LAB applicatins exist on machine, patch setup procedure will ask user to select instance on which patch will be install.
     
  7. patch replaces older files with new ones, but for some special type of files (.rpt) replacement is mandatory.
     
  8. if from any reason replacement is not possible during the setup of patch, procedure will ask fhe machine reboot, and schedule the replacement of files for the next reboot.
     
  9. patch creates LOG file and write to Version table in N-LAB application operative database. In case, somthing went wrong, open the log file, select all, and copy the file content it to message on contact form of this site
